looking after orphans in their distress - trying to live with what is most precious clearly in mind - loving and serving God with my whole heart, mind, soul and strength.
These boys love their bike. It's what they want to do all day, just ride up and down our small strip of concrete, about 30 feet long. They also like to fiddle with the bike, which has resulted in some damage already after only one week of use. With so many kids using it, it's hard to find specific culprits which is frustrating. But anyway, they enjoy it so much and I'm glad we have it.
A few excerpts from my life's To-Do list: 1. Find a dead body. 2. Return a lost pet to it's owner. 3. Spend a year of my life working at an orphanage. Well, it's been over four years now and I'm loving living one of my dreams, living and working with 45 boys, ages 5-11, in a children's center in Maputo, Mozambique! I'm far from my home in the US but love my life here with my boys. (And two out of three of those goals ain't bad!)
